Biography
Cindy Meyer, MSN, RN, CHSE, is a Simulation Educator with seven years of experience in nursing simulation, having progressed through roles ranging from Simulation Coordinator to Simulation Director. Her career in simulation is grounded in sixteen years as a registered nurse across a variety of clinical and educational settings, giving her a broad, practice-informed perspective on how simulation-based learning translates into real-world clinical readiness. Cynthia earned both her BSN and MSN from Austin Peay State University and is currently completing her PhD at East Tennessee State University, where her dissertation examines nursing faculty perspectives on political advocacy and health policy education in BSN programs.
Outside of the simulation lab, Cindy is happiest out on a hiking trail, planning the next family trip, or singing along at a concert. She lives in Clarksville, Tennessee, with her husband and their three daughters.
