Biography
Nathan McIntosh, PT, DPT, is a Simulation Educator with Belmont’s Center for Interprofessional Engagement and Simulation. In this role, he develops, facilitates, and assesses realistic learning experiences that allow students to strengthen clinical reasoning, communication, professionalism, and confidence before entering patient care.
He is a physical therapist with nearly 20 years of experience across pediatric, geriatric, and post-acute rehabilitation settings. Nathan earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Belmont University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Lee University. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Association of Standardized Patient Educators.
Originally from St. Petersburg, FL, Nathan now lives in Nashville with his husband and son. He enjoys staying active, participating in the arts, and being involved in his church community.
