“Belmont remains steadfast in our mission to provide students with a transformative education that equips them for success beyond the classroom and to be a catalyst for innovation wherever they go,” said Provost Dr. David Gregory. “The outstanding Career Outcomes data for the class of 2023 underlines this commitment and reflects not only the dedication to fostering critical thinking and professional growth by our university, staff and faculty, but also the dedication of students themselves.”

The Career Outcomes data also revealed over 35% of the class participated in study abroad programs to engage in experiential learning outside of the classroom.

“This data helps us to quantify how our graduates are practically putting their education to use in today’s dynamic job market,” said Mary Claire Dismukes, Director of Career & Professional Development. “We seek to equip all students with the tools, skills and networks to ensure a successful career wherever they choose to go.”

“Belmont puts a lot of focus on preparing its students to secure a job after graduation and then support their ongoing career,” said Belmont alumna Annalie Malone (’23). “The fall semester of my senior year, I lived in New York City as part of Belmont East, one of Belmont’s study-away programs. Largely due to the preparation from the Nashville faculty and staff and the encouragement from the NYC coordinators, I found my internship with The Group Hospitality. A year and a half later, I’m still here working full time in their HR department and couldn’t be more thankful.”

Belmont remains committed to cultivating a community of lifelong learners and professionals who are prepared to navigate the complexities of today's world with confidence and integrity. With an impressive 93% of graduates reporting growth within their field of study, Belmont continues to uphold its reputation as a beacon of academic excellence and an institution for personal and professional development.
