Community Night

Community Night 2023

Each year Belmont University invites the Nashville community share a meal and participate in a variety of free family-friendly events while enjoying a fun night of Bruin Basketball. Guests rallied together to support the men’s basketball teams as they took on the Evansville and won the game 95-63. Joyce Searcy, director of Community Relations at Belmont, said the event has become a significant staple on campus. “We are thankful to all of the community organizations who come out each year and cheer for the Belmont Bruins, enjoy complimentary dinner, face painting, and balloon artists.” Special thanks go to Citizens Bank and Nashville Electric Service for their support; the Elmington Elevates after school program at Carter Lawrence School for singing the national anthem; and to the Metro Parks and Recreation Department’s Madison Center for an electrifying half-time, step team performance.
