Small Groups

University Ministries

Find your group

We would love to help you get connected to discipleship community on campus. Christ-centered relationships are one of the most profound ways to grow in your faith and experience God’s transformative power alongside others. Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters we have small groups offered through University Ministries that you and others can join that are led by some of our Spiritual Life Ambassadors. Small groups typically will meet weekly for a set amount of weeks determined by the leader(s).

If none of the small groups listed below fit your schedule or preferences, please know we also have many other small groups othered through our Faith Development Organizations. To find out more information about them reach out to any organizations you are interested in getting involved with by clicking here.

Halle Parks

Halle Park's Small Group

Hi friends! My name is Halle Parks and I am a sophomore Songwriting & CEI double major from Cleveland, Ohio. I am thrilled to be leading a women’s small group this year! This small group is open to both lower and upper class students and it will be a place to study God’s word together in order to grow deeper in community and in our knowledge of Him. The text we’ll be studying is the book of Colossians. Each week we’ll read the text together and dive into the themes and discuss life application. I would love for you to join us this semester!

Josh Cook

Josh Cook's Small Group

Hi! My name is Josh Cook and I am a third year student here at Belmont. I am going to be leading a group for anyone who’d like to join and we are going to be going over 1 Peter first. We would be meeting on Wednesday nights from 5-6 PM. My hope for this group is to be able to allow us to be in fellowship as well as study God’s word together!

Annie and Lyndsay

Annie & Lyndsay's Small Group

Hey everyone! The leaders of this small group are Lyndsay Sams and Annie Williamson, two seniors at Belmont. Lyndsay is from Raleigh, North Carolina and a nursing major here at Belmont, and Annie is from Greenville, South Carolina and a Religious Studies major with a minor in Political Science. In this small group, we hope to reach first-year Belmont students (freshman and transfer female students) in this very transitional time and explore what the Scripture has to tell us. This Bible study will focus on women in the Bible, surveying the way women have had an impact on the Christian faith and the way we, as women, continue to do so today. We will learn about the lives and characters of these biblical women, applying the important lessons they teach us in the way we live as Christian women today.

When: Thursday's 12:30pm-1:30pm | Who: Freshmen & Transfer Women | Max Capacity: 12

Jessie King

Jessie King's Small Group

Hey, y’all! My name is Jessie King. I am a Junior Faith and Social Justice Major, from Boone, NC! I am so excited to dive in the book of Psalms with you all! In doing so we will be able to rest in the promises of the Lord, joyfully proclaim God’s praises, and discover what else God has for us in this beautifully diverse text. My hope is that we will be a community that leads with love, walking with the Lord and each other.

When: Wednesday's 8:30am-9:30am | Who: Anyone | Max Capacity: 12
