Parents play such an important role in helping a student determine when, where and how to study abroad. Come meet with the Office of Study Abroad to learn more about Belmont’s study abroad offerings, the study abroad application process and how to support your child throughout their study abroad experience.

This is an intimate, conversational concert at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts during Parent & Family Weekend. Throughout the event, a standout group of Belmont alumni will reflect on how their time at Belmont influenced their unique post-Belmont paths, both as performers and industry professionals. Featuring performances by Belmont alumni Blake Pendergrass, Daniel Ethridge, Sawyer, Josie Dunne and Jake Wesley Rogers.

The Gallery of Iconic Guitars (GIG) at Belmont is Music City’s premier venue designed to celebrate some of the rarest and iconic guitars and stringed instruments ever known. The GIG features an intimate experience for visitors to view these prized instruments up-close, along with historically and technically in-depth information on each. House Of provides the Nashville community with a curated group of local designers and brands. The store opened in April 2016 and employs fifteen students from a variety of majors who actively learn about brand management, marketing, sales and supply chain management. Over thirty local designers are featured in the store and work with the students to learn more about pricing, promoting, and running a business.
Where the Well Things Are opened in August 2021 to serve as Nashville’s one-stop-shop for wellness. Focusing on wellness for your mind, body and soul, the Belmont students who launched Well Things seek to provide the Nashville community with a fresh take on wellness. Home Remedy is a solo exhibition of paintings by local artist Kelly S. Williams. Williams is an artist with a commitment to painting that stems from a deep, abiding love for trompe l’oeil, figurative realism and genre painting. Working primarily in oil on canvas, Williams creates still life paintings rich in color, pattern and an embedded emotional heft.

Whodunit? is a series of thirty-six unique monoprints combining the processes of lithography and screen printing created by Denver-based artist Gregory Santos. The screen-printed series is inspired by the classic board game Clue!

The Show You Are About To See
This exhibition showcases a diverse set of works exploring the relationship between humor and art through sculpture, video, painting and photographic media. The exhibit challenges viewers to consider the possibility of humor being both silly and intelligent while demonstrating how being funny can serve as a framework for artistic practice and messaging.
Frederick Hart Studio Museum (located in the Lila D. Bunch Library)

The Frederick Hart Collection is not only a permanent museum and repository of sculptor Frederick Hart’s work located on Belmont University’s campus; it is also a recreation of Hart’s home studio in Hume, Virginia. The Studio Museum offers an extensive presentation on Hart’s innovative use of clear acrylic resin, the medium Hart pioneered to cast figurative forms which he described as “sculpting with light,” in addition to multiple mediums from early maquettes to completed works by Hart. The Hart Studio Museum is the largest permanent collection of Hart’s work available for public viewing.
